What is Bokuju?
Bokuju is a mobile app that turns wildlife photography into a collectible card game. Photograph real animals, insects, birds, or sea creatures and watch as AI transforms your photos into unique cards featuring sumi-e (Japanese ink painting) artwork, complete with stats and abilities.
How do I create a card?
Open the app and use your camera to photograph any creature you find. The app will identify the animal and generate a unique collectible card with sumi-e style artwork, stats, and abilities based on the creature you captured.
What creatures can I photograph?
You can photograph any animal, bird, insect, fish, or sea creature. Bokuju supports wildlife from 8 geographic regions around the world, so there are always new creatures to discover wherever you are.
How do I create a Bokuju hybrid?
Visit your Collection tab and long press on a Bokuju to bring up the card select view. Select another Bokuju to begin the hybrid process.
How do battles work?
Challenge friends to real-time multiplayer card battles. Pick your best cards, use their unique abilities strategically, and battle to win. Your cards level up and unlock new moves as you play. To learn more, check out the Battle Guide.
Is the app free?
Bokuju is free to download and play. You can capture creatures, build your collection, and battle friends without paying anything.

Bokuju is available on iOS via the App Store and on Android via Google Play.
